Outline Itinerary
Arrive at Chitwan and transfer to your jungle lodge. After lunch, take a guided walk through a nearby Tharu village to learn about traditional homes, local customs, and Tharu cultural dances. Evening leisure and lodge overnight.
Early morning jeep safari in Chitwan National Park for wildlife viewing. Return to lodge for breakfast, then take a serene dugout canoe ride along the Rapti River to spot gharials and water birds. Evening Tharu cultural show. Lodge overnight.
Pre-dawn bird watching tour to spot resident and migratory species in the grasslands. Return for breakfast, then check out and transfer back to Kathmandu or Pokhara. End of tour.
